We have happy gas which will help with the nerves and for those with a fear of needles, we have the latest technology in painless dentistry – The Wand STA.
The Wand is a new way of giving anesthetic injections. It doesn’t look like a syringe at all, and works by controlling the rate at which the anesthetic is administered. Most people who have had a bad experience with injections think that needles sting because the skin is pierced, but this is usually not so! Most often, the sting was caused because the anesthetic was fired in too quickly. The Wand eliminates that problem, making the injection virtually painless.
In our treatment room, we also have an overhead TV with headphones connected to Netflix. This allows you to choose from hundreds of movies, TV shows and documentaries to watch while receiving treatment. We also have Spotify which contains a database of over 10 million songs from every genre for your listening pleasure. You also have the option of watching your treatment as it is happening on the TV screen if you choose to do so! This may not sounding appealing to some, but for others it can be an interesting experience. Just let us know what you would prefer and we will have it all set up for you!
