Comfy, Well Fitted Sports Mouthguard That Protect Your Teeth

Why do you need to wear a mouthguard?

A sports mouthguard should be worn during any contact sport, for both adult and children.  Physical trauma to your face and jaw is possible, during both actual games and training sessions when playing any contact sports.   This damage can result in broken teeth or even complete loss of teeth and broken jaw or damaged jaw joint. By wearing a custom fitted mouthguard you decrease the chance of  possible permanent damage.  When there is physical impact, the mouthguard absorbs and spreads the impact this force thus protecting your mouth and teeth.

Store Bought Mouthguards VS Custom Fitted Mouthgards

Store bought mouthguards are a cheaper alternative. For a mouthguard to be effective, it needs to be well fitted and moulded to your teeth, jaw and mouth. As store bought mouthguards are not custom fitted they are ill and poor fitting and thus do not offer the protection that is needed to protect your teeth and jaw. Store bought mouthguards are also uncomfortable to wear and can make breathing more difficult.

The Benefits of Dentist Made Mouthguards

A mouthguard made at the dentist is custom made to fit your teeth and jaw. A dental impression (mould) of your teeth is taken.  This mould is then used to make dental models of your teeth which gives us an exact replica of your teeth. The mouthguard is carefully made on these dental models. As a result, you get a mouthguard that is perfectly fitting over your teeth and jaw which is extremely comfortable to wear while giving maximum protection.
